ODISSEI-SICSS follows the regular structure of SICSS. Each day is broken into four sessions (unless otherwise stated in the programme), with a guest lecture and the end of each day. This standard daily schedule is as follows:

The first week consists of lectures and hands-on assignments, covering a different topic each day. The second week consists of a group project.

In the second week of the summer school (June 27-July 1), participants will be able to make full use of the ODISSEI infrastructure through a full scale benchmarking challenge, during which they will be put into teams and challenged to work on and submit solutions to a real-life prediction problem that social scientists and policy makers are grappling with.
